A Concise Analysis of the Big 3 Cloud Platforms (AWS vs GCP vs Azure)



As noted in the title, this will be a concise yet clear post comparing the different cloud platform options. Below is a table analyzing each option based on relevant features:



AWS is the clear choice if you need a robust system today and have limited Microsoft products.

Azure should be your platform of choice if you are a Microsoft shop and would like to continue to work with Microsoft moving forward.

GCP is also a solid option for non-Microsoft shops and if you want to work with cheaper/open source services.

It is recommended to use more than one cloud platform for your company to allow for flexibility, and to maintain exposure to a variety of services. New tools will inevitably be deployed by each company and it will be helpful to already have the infrastructure setup for integration and implementation of these new tools to solve new or existing business problems.
